Cycling in and around Domburg

De Manteling, one of the finest nature reserves on Walcheren, you ride in the shade of old trees.

Coast and countryside: the cycling routes follow the dunes, visit historic little towns and cross the countryside of Walcheren.

Artists' village: combine a ride with a visit to the Marie Tak van Poortvliet Museum about the artists who worked in Domburg around 1900.

Bike and beach: leave your bike in the village and walk straight onto the beach.

Bicycle hire

Domburg has 2 bike hire shops, both in the centre close to the Marie Tak van Poortvliet Museum.

• Akkerdaas Tweewielers: on the Weststraat, a few steps from the Johanneskerk and the old town hall.
• Worldbike Zeeland: on the Singel, close to Weltevreden windmill.
• Book ahead: Domburg is busy in summer, so it is best to reserve your bike, especially an e-bike, in advance.
