Prelaatweg - VZ723 - Cottage
The Heejstek was built completely according to our own design, suitable for four persons.
The window, spanning almost the entire facade wall, offers you a view of the camping and bushes.
The ground floor is where you'll find a living room including a kitchen unit, sitting area and a dining corner. Behind it, one bedroom with two single beds. A ladder in the living room gives you access to the spacious second bedroom (standing height, furnished with two single beds). The kitchen is equipped with an electric two-ring stove, crockery, cutlery and pans, as well as a jerrycan for water, a whistling kettle and a manual coffee filter.
The Heejstek does NOT feature power outlets or any kind of electronics. Lighting is offered by means of LED lights powered by batteries. A shower, toilet, water, washing machine, dryer and power outlets are all found at the public toilet building, located at 20 meters from the Heejstek.
Located at only two kilometers from the beach, this simple but cozy two-person holiday home is available for rent. It is a studio featuring a living room with a sofa bed, a simple kitchen as well as a bathroom.
Aagtekerke is a relatively peaceful village, a great place to spend time and enjoy a quiet vacation. It is situated on Walcheren, not far from the famous seaside town of Domburg, where you can enjoy its many restaurants, terraces and shops. Walcheren is exceptionally suited for going on long cycling trips using the many planned bicycle routes, which will take you along beautiful nature areas and picturesque villages.
The beach, in its turn, guarantees many hours of fun at the water.
This beautiful Zeeland island offers some special natural beauty, including clean beaches and not a moment of boredom. There are many options for going cycling, visiting picturesque villages, cozy restaurants and, in addition to the many water sports activities, there are also plenty of opportunities for indoor activities. Serooskerke is centrally located just behind the beach, near Lake Veere. It is a village in typical Walcheren style, where you'll have the chance to enjoy the beautiful old houses and characteristic farms. During summer, horse enthusiasts will find everything they're looking for, as the meadows will be filled with horses.
During its heyday, Veere was a powerful trading town seeing lots of shipping trade with Scotland. These days, the town at Lake Veere still features a beautiful marina, and its many buildings still remind one of its glory days. You'll not only find old little streets with warehouses, but many authentic shops, boutiques and souvenir stores as well, which are also open on Sundays. In addition, you'll find that the Campveerse tower, the Scottish houses and the imposing church are definitely worth a visit.
Delta Park Neeltje Jans
In order to prevent disasters like the one in 1953, the Delta Works were created. Delta Park Neeltje Jans gives you an impression of the projects and the power of the sea. However, it's not just technology on display here, there is also a sea lion show, an aquarium as well as a water park. Something for everyone, no matter your age.
